Please reach us at thegildedpagebookstore@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question!
WE MOVED! We're now located on the ground floor at 123 E Court Street, directly to the right of The Bayou Cafe. We have ample street parking, and there's a public lot just down the street! Look for our green awning that says BOOKSTORE.
At this time, we only sell new books & merchandise, and do not buy back books for credit. If you're looking to sell your books for credit, we recommend the Book Swap in Palm Harbor, or The Paperback Exchange in Port Richey.
We periodically accept book donations for our charity book sales. Keep an eye on our social media for announcements regarding times of year we're accepting donations.
We do! We sell physical gift cards and gift certificates, as well as e-gift cards. You can purchase physical cards in-store. You can purchase e-cards here. Both are eligible towards in-store purchases.
Yes! We can special order just about any book you want, even if we don't carry it in the store. We require prepayment for special orders, and special order titles cannot be returned. Delivery times vary depending on availability of merchandise. You will be notified via phone and email once your order is ready for in-store pickup.
Yes! We can preorder any title you'd like, even if we don't plan to carry it in-store. Just like our special orders, we require prepayment for preorders, and preorder titles cannot be returned (unless we plan to stock them). Delivery times vary depending on availability of merchandise and release date. You will be notified via phone and email once your order is ready for in-store pickup.
At this time, we do not ship merchandise from our store. However, we have a partnership with Bookshop.org, and you can order 1000s of titles that will ship direct to your doorstep, all while supporting our small business. Shop our online page here.
Thank you! We're not hiring at this time, but when we're ready to find booksellers to join our team, we'll announce it on our website, via our email newsletter, and on social media, so make sure you're following us and are subscribed to receive our email alerts!
For independently or self-published local authors looking to sell their book in-store, we take books on consignment. Please do not drop in with unsolicited copies of your book; instead refer to our local author program here and feel free to apply during our open submission months.
Due to high demand for author events in our store, and limited time and resources to accommodate every request, we're currently prioritizing local authors who have a pre-existing relationship with us or whose books are in high demand with our customers. We welcome you to apply for consignment when the application window reopens! Should the book be a good fit for our store, we would then consider partnering for an event as our schedule allows.
At The Gilded Page, we're committed to supporting our community and contributing to causes that align with our values. As an indie bookstore, we recognize the importance of promoting literacy, so we prioritize non-profit organizations that support these goals. Additionally, we strive to support causes that our customers support, and will also prioritize non-profit organizations whose members are active customers.
While we would love to support every cause that comes our way, we must also be judicious in our use of resources. Therefore, we regret that we cannot accommodate all requests for donations.
If your organization meets the following criteria, please feel free to email us to inquire about a donation request:
